Evaluation

We worked on the project together so that is why we think we should work on the evaluation together. In the beginning, we only thought of taking bullying photos and not noticing that we also had to take anti bullying photos. We had so much fun taking all the photos and videos. Though  I think we did our best in making the video. Through out the whole project, we both loved the video and agreed on most of the things in it. Some people really helped us by helping us, supporting us, taking pictures with us and lending us their cameras whenever we forgot ours. We used iMovie to make the movie. We also used a camera to take the pictures and we mostly used our minds. I think in our presentation, people in our class actually loved it and said it was very funny. I also think that my partner, Al-Dana, did equally the same work as I did. We were really concentrated in the last two weeks. All in all, I think we did give credit to the people who helped us and ourselves for working so hard to have a very good and decent project about bullying and anti bullying.

Photo-Booth VS. Ordinary Camera

I think an ordinary camera is much better to use than photo-booth. I have noticed some students in the class use photo-booth for taking pictures and my opinion is that it is not a good program to use of you want to take pictures. If you take pictures with a camera it will be much easier and to take pictures with. While photo-booth, you can take pictures but you don't have the perfect setting or actually do something. As for a professional camera has many effects and really easy to carry around with you. Lets say you want to take a picture of someone beating up someone else, if you do that in photo-booth it will so unreal. In other hand , using a professional camera or even a digital camera, it will look so real like if someone took a picture of it while someone else is not looking. Though I probably think the best thing in photo-booth is that the picture is already in the computer/laptop and you don't have to connect the wire to the laptop / computer. That is why i think an Ordinary camera is much better to take pictures with then post it on blogger with than to take pictures in photo-booth.

iMovie VS Windows Movie Maker ! :D

iMovie is much better to use than to use windows movie maker. In the program iMovie, you can video yourself. Windows movie maker cannot video yourself. Also in iMovie, you can edit the videos. You can do this on windows movie maker too but iMovie gives you much better quality and lots of effects. You can cut parts of what you filmed if you make a mistake. In the other hand, Windows movie maker cannot edit the videos while getting some other parts too. In my Opinion, I find iMovie more kid friendly and much more easier to use and get familiar with. I had a windows xp laptop once and whenever i try to open windows movie maker it was so hard to get the hang of it and I had one Windows xp laptop before i had my Macintosh laptop. When i got my laptop, I thought everything was going to be hard. It was the complete opposite. On the first day, i tried every single application on my Macbook and when i opened iMovie, I thought it was going to be really hard to make movies but it was really was easy to use !

  • Stealing, hiding or ruining someone's things
  • Making someone do things he or she don't want to do

Verbal bullying means:

  • Name-calling
  • Teasing
  • Insulting

Relationship bullying means:

  • Refusing to talk to someone
  • Spreading lies or rumors about someone
  • Making someone do things he or she doesn't want to do

Final Evaluation

I think my final product of the iweb works very well it has pictures, information, a movie, emergency plan, and finally a reference page. My product works very well and i think it dose every thing i wanted it to do. For the design cycle im not very clear on what i had to do so therefore i just tried to copy some of the ideas my friends and classmates had.
  • Investigation
  • Design
  • Plan
  • Create
  • Attitudes in Technology
For Investigation i think i did plenty of research!

For Design i didnt follow my plan but i think i came up with a better one while i was designing my iweb.

For Plan as i said i tried to follow it but that didnt work because of the iweb setup.

For Create i think i made it up along the way with the help of my friends and classmates.

For attitudes in Technology I think i did a pretty good job in resarching usind the internet and many other usefull resources like the iweb. And in the internet i used many amazing websites and blogger pages and youtube.

Client Meeting

My design and layout of my web pages is not ready to judge to wether it fits on my drawing/plan. It is not ready because i still haven't started yet, that is because i don't think i have got enough information to start a web page or pages. My topic is about tsunamis and i have done some research in class but not that much information or research. In class i've been trying to look for some real good information or research but as everyone nows the good information is hard to find. I have been looking at the color font and multimedia but i still haven't decided on one. I think when im done with the web pages their will be five or more pages. I have tried some of the features apple iweb has in it and it is a very advanced technology which is very interesting. The iweb features are alot the things i have tried are the colors of they page the font and the embedding. Till now i have not been embedding things but i am planning to do this in the future and i still dont have an idea on what a widget is. I am working on a emergency plan because i cant rely on one thing im also working on the reference page. I havent done much because im trying to look for the best information to make it the best iweb.

Design Cycle

Investigate: The step in where you identify a problem to be solved, create a design brief to guide you, and make a specification.
Plan: The step where you plan and design the product/solution.
Create: The step where you follow the plan to create the product using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Evaluate: The last step of the MYP design cycle in where you grade the product and grade/examine the way the you included/used the MYP design cycle.
